Cassidy turley Associate vice president Harold Campbell, rPA, sMA, said that the energy star certification was achieved due to the combined efforts of the Cassidy turley property manage- ment, sustainability services/en- ergy management and brokerage services teams, along with the property’s owner, Colony realty Partners, and tenants. “We were interested in improv- ing the financial performance of the building, while also being aware of our social responsibility as managers,” said Campbell. “We took an aggressive approach by making sure all the existing engineering controls were set and running at exactly the levels they should be at all times.” Campbell noted that they were able to secure the ranking by ad- hering to energy-saving principles and aggressive maintenance efforts. “We verified that everything in the building was working accord- ing to specifications,” he added.
