UNITS INSTALLED AT SEVERAL HIGH-PROFILE PREMISES NATIONWIDE… Kompaktboy range provides exceptional performance

S aniflo Ireland is enjoying great success with its range of commercial pumps following its partnership with Zehnder Pumps. The Kompaktboy is a range of exceptionally high performing pumps with a choice of grinder or vortex technology at their core. Highly efficient and with low noise levels, the units are rated at IP68 and are therefore completely submersible and can discharge waste up to 15m vertically. The units feature a durable polyethylene container and offer a choice of one or two pumps, single or three phase electrics and up to 55 litres capacity. ARNOTTS A Kompaktboy Duplex 3 phase was installed in Arnotts’ flagship store in Dublin, the oldest and largest department store in Ireland. In the basement there are several pumping stations that discharge waste from the toilets. The new unit, which replaces an older pump, discharges up 2.4m in DN100 discharge pipework and joins the existing rising main drainage pipe.

SALLINS CAFÉ Another unit has been installed in Sallins Café, Co Kildare, which is part of a stunning conversion of an old mill building adjacent to a canal. With the mill on one side of the canal and the only sewer located on the other, a pump was required that could lift waste up and across a high bridge straddling the canal. A phase 3 Kompaktboy 1.1 proved to be a perfect fit for the job. The 400-volt unit has plenty of power to pump up 15m, along 30m and down to the existing sewer. A vortex system was chosen to facilitate passage for the waste. With this vortex pump, the Kompaktboy offers a free passage space of 50mm allowing continuous usage without blockage. TRADERS PUB The well-known Traders Pub in South Dublin was rebuilt with the bathroom facilities now located in a new basement. The waste from the bathrooms is being pumped up to ground level and out to the main sewer via a 220v Kompaktboy

duplex. In the unusual event of one pump ceasing to work, the other will assume its workload until repaired. The free passage of waste ensures consistent use without blockage issues. CORK MARKET Three Kompaktboy 1.1 220v vortex pumps were installed in the old Ford factory in Cork to facilitate its conversion into a city food market. Each pump takes the wastewater from the provided facilities, pumping 8m vertically and 60m horizontally to the existing waste pipe. The customer was so happy with the solution to their problem that they have since placed an order for another two units to complete the market project.
