Dazzleball 40 Participants Dazzleball is a fast-moving, ever-changing sportsball game! It’s a combination of soccer, football and frisbee with two teams competing against one another. This makes Dazzleball similar to Quidditch, just with shapeshifting balls, and played on the ground!

Korean Language and Culture Jam 20 Participants

Join us on a language and culture experience through the country of South Korea. Learn important Korean phrases, fun games, crafts and information about a popular Korean dish you can easily make at home!

Disc Golf 101 25 Participants

Creating, Prototyping and Innovating 30 Participants

Come learn about the basic rules and mechanics of Disc Golf, a fun, casual and low-impact sport for all ages! Participants will walk through a few simple shots and practice a putting technique. No need to bring your own materials, discs will be loaned for practicing. All About Insects with the MSU Bug House 20 Participants Join MSU Bug House guides for an interactive Bug House tour! Learn about the biology of insects and other arthropods, handle live beetles and cockroaches and participate in an insect-themed craft activity (may include live insects).

Prototyping is a user-experience design practice where quick sketches, drawings and “wireframes” are developed for an idea, app or product. In this session, we’ll talk about why designers prototype and more importantly, we’ll do some brainstorming and prototyping together to create a new, interactive app: an ice-cream finder!

Intro to Archery 20 Participants

Participants will be provided the opportunity to shoot both recurve and compound archery equipment while being instructed by one of our world class archery instructors. Sessions will primarily be located indoors, however, we have the ability to shoot outdoors at our facility as well. Additionally, we offer the newest, state-of-the-art video archery system (TechnoHunt 400).

Michigan State University Pompon 100 Participants

The MSU Pompon team will be performing for the audience, and then teaching a routine to kids and their grandparents! Tour the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) at MSU 50 Participants Explore a world-class rare isotope laboratory where nuclei are smashed into a target at half the speed of light! Our tour includes demonstrations, an introduction to the goals and methods of nuclear science, and a 50-minute walk through the research vaults. The secrets we learn could help explain what happens in supernovae and the origins of elements that make up the human body. Science of Star Wars 141 Participants Learn about the science of different types of planets, spaceships and more inspired by Star Wars. We will also have a chat about engineering while making lightsabers.

You Should be a Lawyer! 30 Participants

Has a friend or family member (or teacher) ever told you that “you should be a lawyer!” Did that start a thought in your mind that maybe you’d like to be one? Let’s talk about it! What’s involved in being and thinking like a lawyer? It’s not all about arguing!

Open Gym — Basketball 100 Participants

Play basketball during this open gym time at the Intramural East building. No structured games, coaches or referees.

Gaming and Esports at ComArtSci 80 Participants

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of games including Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Minecraft and more!
