BB9Y LENS September 2022 Vol 9: Issue No. Two Excellence Through Partnership
THE
Abbey reporters! Sharing stories
WHAT’S THE NEWS? Our Abbey Lens shines a light upon curriculum, community and Abbey news. It’s a weekly journal illustrating something that has happened in our school. It enables children to write about their experiences and share with our whole community. We encourage families to share good news too. Whilst we can’t promise to publish everything, we welcome short submissions with a picture or two, to the email address in the footer. At the end of the year it’s great to look back on the experiences of the academic year. The story below came in during the last few days of the summer term and missed the last edition of 2021-22. STAR PERFORMER My name is Vanellope and I’m in year 3 (now Y4!). I am also part of Cashmore Dance school and currently a junior pupil at Junior Musical Theatre Class. In the last 2 weeks I have 3 big performance for Matilda-Revolting children, Grease and Oz the Wizard! The performance was in The Dovehouse Theatre. Really enjoyed it and looking forward for next term. [Ed - Well done Vanellope and a great way to start our new year of Abbey Lenses!]
