Scottish traditions! Y2 immersion day
GREAT SCOT!
Everyone in Year 2 had a fantastic day starting our Scottish related topic!
We took part in a range of activities including: making shortbread, Highland games, Crumble Tissue Nessies and drawing Highland Cows in the style of Steven Brown. We loved mixing the ingredients for our shortbread! When it was baked it was super good!
The Highland games was great fun and we especially loved ‘Tossing the Caber’.
Making our artistic Highland Cows in the style of the artist Stephen Brown and the tissue Nessies finished the day perfectly.
Thank you to all the children in 2J who helped to write this week’s story.
