ARTS FESTIVAL I am a local Abbey mum and have organised a children’s arts festival celebrating action on climate change. It's called 'Growing Up Green' and I wondered if I could have a feature on the Abbey Lens today? Growing Up Green is a free Children’s Arts Festival happening in Bearwood that celebrates action on climate change as part of #TheGreatBigGreenWeek 24 September - 2 October 2022. There's so much to get involved with including eco messy play, a bird walk, tree trail, art activism workshops, performances, forest play, a toy swap and the launch of the Bearwood Welly Bank. There are sessions for children and families of all ages at Thimblemill Library, Warley Woods, Bear Bookshop and Bearwood Community Hub.
