FedEx Services. His team investigates EEO issues, manages the group of HR professionals assigned to specific busi- ness divisions, assists employees with transfers, disaster recovery services, and oversees Diversity and Inclusion training among other responsibilities. “Achievement in every field of human endeavor” – the fraternity motto – most resonates with Webster. “That’s something I live by and it keeps me motivated. You can never become complacent, you can’t rest on your laurels. You want to make sure you’re achieving in all areas of life.” An alumni of the Leadership German- town (TN) organization, Webster is also a board member of the German- town (TN) Alumni Chapter. Other community service roles include board membership of the Memphis/Shelby County Crime Stoppers organization, and serving as president of the South- eastern Leadership Academy. Like his FedEx Kappa brothers, Web- ster enjoys the opportunity to talk to young people. Over the past decade, he has been a youth counselor and has coached youth football and track teams. His advice for young people seeking professional career guidance? Look inward. “I usually tell young people – first start out with self-reflec- tion. The most powerful message and feedback you’ll ever get is the mirror. The mirror won’t lie to you, you can’t deceive that mirror. It keeps you bal- anced.” He adds identifying your passion and purpose is key. And you can’t get discouraged. “In the Kappa world we say always look for the diamond. The diamond is in the sky, you can’t find the diamond looking at your feet. You always have to keep your head up, and keep look- ing forward.”
