DALE Corporation works with Rosemont College Delivering innovative design through teamwork
F rom commencement to completion in August 2013, DALE Corpora- tion worked hand in hand to restore and restructure the Cardinal Hall Eatery and Cafe as well as the Athletic Fields of Rosemont College. The redesign of the existing athletic fields allowed for a new artificial multi-purpose turf field and a natural surface soft- ball field to be installed to sup- port the college’s athletics and recreational programs. The ex- isting fields were constrained in a small area by train tracks and other campus buildings, roads and parking lots. The design reconfigured the existing fields and an adjacent parking lot to add more space, more spirit,
athlete and fan amenities; and increased functionality for soc- cer, lacrosse, softball and other outdoor events and activities. The renovation and expan- sion of Cardinal Hall included a transformation of the existing cafeteria, built in 1956, into a state-of-the-art eatery and cafe complete with food stations, flexible seating and a cafe. The transformation was completed in August 2013 in time to wel- come the incoming Class of 2017 returning undergraduate and graduate/professional studies students. The success of these projects was due to the well-planned collaboration of DALE Corpora- tion and officials at Rosemont College. n
