The F2FC Run/Walk is hosted by Team Fight 2 Finish Cancer, a group of individuals who have either fought cancer, watched a loved one suffer with cancer or just want to give back. Since 2006 they have raised over $100,000 to support cancer research. For the last three years after watching so many families suffer financially due to their fight against cancer team F2FC teamed up with Windham’s Helping Hands to directly impact local families. “My wife and I have needed rehab a few times in the past, and during those times visited 2 or 3 different therapy Co’s in the Windham area. Our experience in each case was not positive. Each lacked attention to detail and the ability to listen and address our individual needs. We both encountered injuries during the past 2 years. Mine for a significant lower back issue and my wife’s for a knee and back injury. We asked around about other rehab organizations and heard good things about Balance Rehab in Windham. We both were fortunately assigned to Michelle Fecteau. In my case, within a matter of a few short weeks, Michelle had my back feeling stronger than it had in many years. To the point of being able to get back to playing golf. I found Michelle’s caring approach was very different than what I had encountered elsewhere. She asked loads of questions to determine what was going on and identifying the best course of action. She felt the doctors may have been misdiagnosing the issue and it turned out she wascorrectandtheyagreed.Similarly, inmywife’scase,Michellewasableto identifyan injury which had also been misdiagnosed. However, with her knowledge and hands-on approach, she provided the necessary therapy. In summary, Balance’s ability to identify the best course of therapeutic action has proven to be thebestmedicinethatbothofushaveeverexperienced.TheenvironmentatBalancehasalways been, friendly, thorough, and effective. The entire staff goes out of their way to assist to create a positive outcome and experience. We highly recommend Balance-Rehab.” Patient Success Spotlight Steve & June C.
