Since the company signed their first lease with St. John in 1994, NFT has nearly doubled their workforce, growing from 40 to 72 employees. Having originally occupied 9,000 square feet, they now lease 18,000 square feet to support their manufacturing and administrative teams. NFT’s highly skilled machinists are armed with knowledge and experience in working with a variety of materials including aluminum, titanium and more, and the company has manufactured components that have explored other planets, function in space, and enhance our world. NFT engineers and designers craft machine designs of varying complexity and size with a focus on design for maintenance and ease of use. Recently St. John Properties staff helped facilitate a major electrical upgrade

required for NFT’s machine shop. “The team hit every date on the schedule and were powered up with and cutting chips on schedule,” Brassell said. “It was impressive. We have always been very impressed with the level of attention and responses we have received over the years.”

Gil Brassell founded NFT in 1986, after working at Department of Energy facilities for over a decade. The company specializes in the creation of ventilation and packaging for the safe transportation and storage of nuclear materials and also stores nuclear materials and waste. Beginning with its NucFil Products, NFT grew to offer a wide variety of capabilities, expanding services and products for laboratory testing, laser welding, machine design and fabrication of structural platforms and railings, and more. “Our main reason for leasing with St. John was the quality of the property and location,” Brassell said. “The St. John team has been very helpful in assisting us with our needs for space as we have grown.” Situated conveniently near main thoroughfares, and about a five-minute drive from the renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre, “The property is attractive, the management team is easy to
