How did you get into the hospitality industry? My first official hospitality job was with Long John Silver’s in high school and the emphasis our manager had on customer satisfaction and facility cleanliness has stuck with me ever since. I find hospitality is a heart and head path to take in life. I use business sense (head) and kindness (heart) daily in my job. What has been the weirdest moment in your training career so far? What is your “golden rule” of training? My golden rule for training and mostly life in general is Be kind and meet them where they are. windows blew in! End of session, head to shelter, and hope for the best. It turned out fine and passed quickly with no one hurt, but it was the wildest and most unexpected training I had been through.
