SASKO will find this tougher but has a 50% win strike rate at the trip. GRINDERS CARRIAGE PADDOCK The Carriage Paddock at Flemington in the colonial era was the Members’ Car Park of its day. One of the first projects of the VRC’s first Secretary, R.C. Bagot, was to create and improve the Carriage Paddock, located near the site of today’s Club Stand. Here patrons could park their simple or fancy “equipages” It became a favourite picnic spot at the big race meetings.
