HENRY BYRON MOORE The VRC’s second Secretary, Henry Byron Moore, held this important office for an astonishing 44 years. He succeeded R.C. Bagot in 1881 and built mightily on that legacy. Over a span of 61 years Bagot and Byron Moore made Flemington magnificent, and both are in the Australian Racing Hall of Fame.
