RTI FOR EMPLOYERS
6 July 2011 HMRC has published a new page called 'Improving the operation of PAYE: Real Time Information (RTI)'. It gives information about RTI including some new frequently asked questions (FAQs). Employers who are not part of the pilot must join RTI in the period from April 2013 to October 2013. All employers will be using the RTI service by October 2013. HMRC will pilot the RTI service with volunteer software developers and employers for a year, starting in April 2012 to make sure it is thoroughly tested. Follow this link for full details on HMRC's website The CIPP also have a new Special Interest Group that will detail news specifically related to RTI, however, news will still be posted on our website and included in News On Line. Members should use this forum to advise the CIPP Policy team of your concerns and aspirations for RTI. Specialist Interest Groups are a fantastic opportunity for you to share and resolve issues, concerns or queries with other professionals within the same industry. The CIPP will provide support and answer queries, but the groups are designed to be self- serving. Email info@cipp.org.uk with your membership number to register for the RTI SIG or any other CIPP SIGs. RTI SPECIALIST INTEREST GROUP 13 July 2011 The first meeting of the RTI Customer User Group was held on 24 June 2011. HMRC delivered a series of presentations to ensure that all present had the same knowledge and understanding of the issues which will allow attendees to begin addressing these issues at the next meeting on 16 September.
