Harrell’s CalMAX is an ideal soil nutrient enhancement for turf and horticultural application. CalMAX delivers Calcium to the plant and soil and raises soil pH. Application rate will depend on soil tests. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Store in a cool, dry place, do not contaminate water by storage or disposal. Apply product in accordance with best management practices established by your State University or Cooperative Extension Service. Observe any State or Local fertilizer regulations pertaining to fertilizer content, application rates, or timing of application specific to your locale. RECOMMENDED RATES TO RAISE LOW pH / ACIDIC SOIL and increase Calcium levels in the soil Apply 12.5 lbs. per 1,000 sq.ft. or 520 lbs. per acre, as necessary. 50lb bag covers 4,000 sq.ft. TO MAINTAIN SOIL pH Apply 6 lbs. per 1,000 sq.ft. or 260 lbs. per acre, as necessary. Two applications per year are recommended. 50lb bag covers 8,000 sq.ft. TO MAINTAIN CALCIUM LEVELS in the soil (turf, trees, shrubs, ornamental beds, vegetable gardens) Apply 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq.ft, as necessary. Two applications in spring and fall are recommended. 50lb bag covers 10,000 sq.ft. STORAGE AND CONTAINER DISPOSAL Store this product in a dry place, in original container only. Offer packaging for recycling or dispose of in accordance with federal, state and local authorities.
