HYDE NEW HOMES | RIVERSIDE SQUARE
When Hyde New Homes planned the launch of Riverside Square in the historic heart of Canterbury, the storytelling needed to consider the challenges a typical first time buyer faced in today’s market. This spacious two bedroom, two bathroom show apartment available through Shared Ownership and priced at £80,625 for a 25% share, displays an interior design where potential buyers could understand how best the space could be maximised for living, and one they could easily replicate themselves or complement using their own personal pieces. Paired with a contemporary specification, striking the balance between aspiration and affordability, the interior look was designed using accents of calm muted greens, burnt orange and warm stone, to reflect the ecology of its riverside location. With most of the soft furnishings, paint and accessories sought through high street retailers, a helpful display shows customers how they can easily recreate the show home’s decorative look, without breaking the bank.
VICO HOMES | ST MARY’S FIELD, RAWMARSH
St Mary’s Field is an all-affordable development in Rawmarsh, Rotherham, which only sells homes through schemes like Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy. A show home on this development needed to prove that homeownership isn’t a pipe dream, it can be affordable, stylish and achievable. The home was designed with a strict budget guided by the average Shared Ownership customer and used affordable high street pieces to create a sophisticated, multi-functional and stylish home that first time buyers can see themselves living in.
