Storm Solutions for Hurricane Season

You dreaded it, you tried to forget about it, but guess what? It’s back. Yup, it is officially hurricane season. The season when our doors leak water from outside, our windows rattle in the wind, and our hurricane shutters hang from their hinges. Sounds great, right? Wrong. The last thing we need to worry about this hurricane season is the condition of our homes due to these mishaps. Many insurance companies refuse to write policies for homes that are not in compliance with their standards, leaving people wondering what to do next. T.J. Wolnik, who has been with Storm Solutions since 2014, knows all too well the damage and heartache storms can cause. Even though the recent devastation we saw all throughout Florida with Hurricane Irma is still fresh, it’s not the only hurricane that stands out in T.J.’s mind. “I’ll never forget going to Homestead after Hurricane Andrew and seeing homes with no roofs or windows. There were no street signs left. It was heartbreaking. I remember similar devastation after Hurricane Charley. I vividly remember watching a lady rake her clothes into a pile in her front yard as we drove by.”

Storm Solutions provides services that protect your investment with the insurance companies while also keeping your costs low. “I just want to educate these individuals,” says T.J. “Everyone’s situation is always different, but we have the tools and knowledge to educate them on their best options.” If you’d like more information, please give Storm Solutions a call at 239-205-7608 or visit Storm-Solutions.net where they provide amazing information on their products and services to minimize the damage of hurricane season.

Green Bean and Sesame Salad

Can you believe it? It was 14 years last month that Kathy began working for Dellutri Law Group. Recently, outside of the office, the teammates were laughing, telling old stories of how they came to be at Dellutri Law Group, and sharing some of our funniest memories. For Kathy, she ended up here by chance. She was originally in banking but fell in love with legal work from her 11 years of doing legal research at a bank. It was then that she decided to go back to school to become a

paralegal. As we all exchanged stories, we found out that Kathy was just looking for her chance to shine. She old-school USPS-mailed a resume to Dellutri Law Group, and as luck would have it, we were hiring! She came in and met the team over at our little building that used to be on Colonial Boulevard. Attorney Amanda Downing was actually the one to interview her. For Kathy, it was the random chance she took that led her to become one of our most longstanding employees. Kathy has been involved in many areas of our office, but today you can find her working on civil litigation cases in our consumer defense department with attorneys David Fineman and Joe LoTempio.

Directions 1. Bring a large saucepan of water to boil; cook green beans for 4–5 minutes; drain well. 2. In a blender, mix finely chopped mint and parsley with olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Blend until combined. 3. Add dressing, onion, and sesame seeds to beans. Toss together. Cool dish, then refrigerate until ready to serve.

Kathy, we are so happy you decided to mail a resume all those years ago. Happy Anniversary!
