Began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Post race vet exam revealed horse to have sustained a laceration to tongue. Flemington 30/10/2021 Reared as start was effected and lost ground (3L). Hampered near the 1300m. Caulfield 12/02/2022 Over final 250m was inclined to lay in when placed under pressure. Approaching 50m had to be checked and lost its rightful running. Rosehill Gardens 19/02/2022 Change of tactics: to be ridden off pace with cover. Became unbalanced at start when contacted by Linas Legend which shifted in. Settled at rear of the field after being restrained after start from the wide barrier. When questioned, rider explained he was instructed to ride back with cover, even if this meant racing in a three-wide position. He added after beginning well, he was then not in a position from his outside barrier to find cover unless he restrained to the rear of the field. Commenced awkwardly. The Valley 18/02/2022 Held up from the 400 metres until the 200 metres. Caulfield 26/02/2022 COT: To settle further forward; settled off midfield. Began only fairly and shortly after was crowded for room. A short distance later was hampered when bumped by another runner. Rider advised that the intention was to be more forward on the gelding but, after being hampered on jumping, his mount did not show its expected early pace and settled further back than had been intended.Rosehill Gardens 19/02/2022 COT - more forward. Settled behind the leaders. Flemington 19/02/2022 Began very awkwardly and lost ground. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Rosehill Gardens 30/10/2021 Post race vet exam revealed EIPH. Vet cert req. Flemington 30/10/2021 Rider reported the gelding failed to finish the race off. Caulfield 26/12/2021 Near the 50 metres bumped with Curran. Flemington 02/11/2021 Rdr advised the tempo of the race in the early stages did not suit mnt and as a consequence it did not close off as anticipated. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Tnr advised that the mare did not appear to be suited by racing back in the field and also by the track surface which was affected by rain which fell prior to the running of this race. Tnr rep subsequently reported satisfaction with post-race condition of mare and advised the intention to continue with its current preparation. Royal Randwick 12/02/2022 Slow into stride. Overraced in the middle stages. Rdr said mount returned to scale in a normal manner and he could offer no explanation for performance. Post race vet exam revealed no abs. Swab taken. Co-Tnr reported horse pulled up well and may have raced a little fresh. Tnr to report back.Caulfield 26/01/2022 Bumped and became unbalanced near the 300m. Flemington 30/10/2021
