OA UK Events 2015 ..........................................................................................................

10 January – Annual Old Alleynian Boat Club Dinner This event saw another very strong turnout, this time hosted at the Oxford and Cambridge Club because of refurbishments at the East India Club. The dinner proved be an excellent occasion to celebrate what had been a record year for both the OABC and DCBC and reinforced their close relationships with each other and the Alleyn Club. 30 January – Oxford Dinner The Annual Dinner for current students, alumni and residents of Oxford was held at Pembroke College and saw 31 attendees. There was a lovely mix of demographics and with a strong contingent of staff and recent leavers; the evening’s festivities needed no encouragement. 31 January – Annual Sailing Society AGM and Lunch The event was held in the Dulwich College Boardroom and the Pavilion Salle, co-ordinated by Anthony Frankford; 50 OA’s were in attendance. 3 March – OAs in the Law Networking Event

5 March – OA Golf Society Dinner 65 OA’s attended the popular annual dinner held at the East India Club. The event honoured David Somerville on the achievement of playing in over 100 Halford Hewitt matches as well as many Grafton Morrish and Cyril Gray matches for the society. A presentation was given by guest Peter Mathieson, who himself played over 100 Halford Hewitt matches for Malvern and is currently President of the Berkshire. 11 April – Annual OAFC Dinner One hundred and seventeen were in attendance at the East India Club for the Annual Dinner. Vice-President Terry Walsh held Chair, in his 61st year serving at The College. 25 April – Chichester Luncheon The 24th Annual Lunch was hosted by Jerrold and Susie Alexander, held at Vicars Hall, Chichester Cathedral. 8 May – 20/21 Years on Reunion

The classes of 1994 and 1995 met in the Pavilion Salle, with over 100 OAs and staff in attendance – one of the biggest reunions to date. A very successful evening was had and many nicknames were reinstated! 15 May – Kent and Sussex Dinner Organised by Will Lewis, the dinner was held at the Royal Wells Hotel; 27 guests attended. 4 June – 5 Years on Reunion Almost ninety members of the class of 2010 and their former staff gathered to see what they had all been up to in the five years since leaving Dulwich College. Many had recently graduated and are starting out on their careers and so it was an exciting opportunity for their former teachers to catch up with them.

The fourth professional networking event of OA’s in the Law was hosted at Edwin Coe LLP by Shams Rahman. President of the Alleyn Club Ivor Warburton and Sir Colin Rimer [54-62] (the keynote speaker) both addressed the 54 attendees. See photo above.
