THE

Home and away In-house and out-house

B67 5LT Last week, half of year 6 went to Plas Gwynant and the rest os us took part in many fun-filled activities that included: designing our own notebook; using acrylic and impasto to make a 3d texture; creating an Anderson shelter in Design Technology. Also Minecraft, soft archery and skateboarding. We also went to ‘Wolf Mountain’; which was very entertaining. We took part in rock climbing, crate stacking, archery and caving - very creepy! To end the week, we watched a movie whilst eating delicious pizza. What a great week! Thanks to Jasmin and Maiya-Nefeli in 6V for the story. LL55 4NR On Monday, we faced the ordeal of leaving home and going on a four hour journey to Plas Gwynant. Dan (our instructor) greeted us and went through a powerpoint to help get us settled in to our new home for the week. Our adventure began by splitting into four groups and, over the course of the week, we took part in: gorge walking, caving in old mines, beach, canoeing, mountain walking and the ‘great bottle bonanza’. All of these activities challenged us in many ways, but also gave us an experience to remember. We’ll cherish the memories and achievements! Thanks to Isla and Maya in 6V for the story. [Ed - I am deeply appreciative of my staff giving up time from families]
