A MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

Hello Chanhassen! There’s something truly special about celebrating the 4 th of July in Chanhassen. As we gather together for another incredible community celebration, I’m reminded how fortunate I am to live in the best country and serve this amazing community. This year feels especially meaningful as we celebrate the 250 th anniversary of our nation and reflect on the values that bring us together. Our 4th of July Celebration is more than just fireworks, parades and fun traditions. It’s a reminder of what makes Chanhassen such a wonderful place to call home. Events like this bring families and neighbors together, strengthen our community spirit and help create the vibrant downtown atmosphere that continues to make our city shine. Thank you to our wonderful sponsors, volunteers and the Rotary Club of Chanhassen for helping make this celebration possible. I’d also like to thank our outstanding city staff, public safety

personnel and everyone working behind the scenes to create a safe, welcoming and memorable event for all. As we come together to celebrate our country, please join me in thanking our veterans. We owe the very freedoms we enjoy today to their dedicated service and selflessness. Have a safe and wonderful 4 th of July!

Yes, but not far! While favorite activities have shifted to temporary locations throughout City Center Park, you’ll still find the fun, food, music and community spirit that make Chanhassen’s 4th of July a summer tradition. As we continue putting the finishing touches on this year’s celebration, the map below should be viewed as a general guide, since some of the more specific details (activities, vendors, booth locations, etc.) may change slightly between now and the event. We’ll continue updating residents with specific details on our website and social media channels as plans come together. SINCE CIVIC CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION IS ONGOING, WILL 4 TH OF JULY ACTIVITIES MOVE?

A NOTE FROM OUR PARTNER: THE ROTARY CLUB OF CHANHASSEN

Your favorite summer celebration is back and it is better than ever! The countdown is on. The Rotary Club of Chanhassen is proud to partner once again with the City of Chanhassen to bring you three days of celebration, connection and community pride. All your favorites return including the Beer Garden, Taste of Chanhassen, Classic Car Show and the Independence Day Parade. And this year brings two brand new reasons to come out early! Family Night is back and Rotary is joining the fun | July 2 Family Night returns on July 2 and this year the Rotary Club has a brand new role in the fun. Join us for lawn games for kids and adults, a photo wall and a concessions lineup featuring the trendiest drinks of the summer including dirty sodas. And for the parents? Chilled wine, beer and more. This is the kind of neighborhood evening you will be talking about all summer! The Neighborhood Float Competition | July 4 Get ready, Chanhassen. This year

the parade has a new twist with the Neighborhood Float Competition. Gather your neighbors, rally your block and build something that shows off your creativity, your humor and your hometown pride. The winning neighborhood earns bragging rights and a pizza party. Start planning now! Your fun funds the mission. When you enjoy this celebration, you are doing more

than celebrating. Right here in the southwest metro, Rotary funds scholarships for graduating seniors, early literacy programs that put books in the hands of young children, youth initiatives and nonprofit partnerships throughout our community. And because “Service

Neighborhood Float Competition July 4

Above Self” knows no borders, those same dollars reach

communities across the nation and around the

world through clean water, disaster relief, women and children’s health and new beginnings for human trafficking survivors. After event costs, every remaining dollar goes directly to service—right back into the community.
