M eđunarodno afirmisana kanad- sko-srpska umetnica Vesna Pe- runović predstavlja svoju no- vu izložbu „Metod u ludilu“ u Galeriji DOTS u Beogradu. U pitanju je ciklus radova koji nastavlja njeno dugogodiš- nje istraživanje granica, migracija, iden- titeta i pripadanja. Izložba se zasniva na umetničkoj metodologiji beleženja, po- navljanja, akumulacije, fragmentacije i integracije – postupcima koji se tradici- onalno vezuju za ženski rad u domaćoj sferi. Kroz različite medije – instalaci- ju, crtež, umetničke knjige, video i fo- tografiju – Perunović postavlja gest kao centralni fokus svog umetničkog proce- sa. Izložba nudi kontemplativnu alter- nativu haotičnoj stvarnosti današnjice, dotičući teme izolacije, ranjivosti i pri- padanja. Vesna Perunović je tokom svo- je umetničke karijere, duge skoro četiri decenije, izlagala širom Evrope, Severne Amerike, Azije i Južne Amerike, a izlož- ba „Metod u ludilu“ traje do 27. juna.

I nternationally acclaimed Canadi- an-Serbian artist Vesna Perunović is presenting her latest exhibition, Meth- od to Madness, at Belgrade’s DOTS Gal- lery. This exhibition encompasses a cycle of works that continues her many years of research on borders, migration, iden- tity and the sense of belonging. At the exhibition’s base is the artistic method- ology of recording, repeating, accumulat- ing, fragmenting and integrating – proce- dures that are all traditionally associated with the work of women in the domestic
sphere. With the use of various media - installations, drawings, art books, videos and photography - Perunović makes ges- ture the central focus of her artistic pro- cess. This exhibition offers a contempla- tive alternative to today’s chaotic reality, touching on themes of isolation, vulner- ability and belonging. Over the course of an artistic career spanning almost four decades, Perunović has exhibited across Europe, North America, Asia and South America. The Method to Madness exhi- bition runs until 27 th June.

Is this a new threat to the toys? Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will reprise their roles, and we’ll see how the story unfolds on 19 th June, when the new Toy story is schedule to make its world premiere.
