U Gaudijevoj lepotici leto počinje uz „Primavera Sound“, koji ove godine traje od 4. do 8. juna u industrijskom pejzažu Parc del Fòruma, tik uz more. Ono što „Primaveru“ izdvaja od drugih veli- kih festivala jeste sposobnost da spoji globalne zvezde i alterna- tivu bez kompromisa. Summer starts in Gaudí’s beautiful metropolis with Primavera Sound, which will this year take place from 4 th to 8 th June in the in- dustrial waterfront landscape of the Parc del Fòrum. Distinguish- ing Primavera Sound from other major festivals is its ability to gath- er global stars and alternative acts without compromise. This year’s lineup includes Pulp, Lana Del Rey, The National and Justice, togeth- er with dozens of artists who dictate the direction of the contem- porary scene. Primavera days start late and end at dawn. Attend- ees spend the time between concerts sitting on concrete beside the sea, sharing beer and discussing music. And Barcelona is natu- rally the perfect collaborator: the mornings after long festival nights are reserved for light breakfasts in the El Born neighbourhood, while the nearby La Boqueria market is the right place to re-energise with fresh fruit, juices and tapas. And if you need a break from the city, the town of Sitges is just a half-hour drive away and represents a small Mediterranean postcard with beaches and an artistic spirit.
