Victorian twist! Y1 workshop.
DOLL Year 1 turned back the clock this week as children and their families dived into Victorian life with a creative twist! After learning all about The Victorians, pupils brought their own Victorian-inspired spoon doll designs to life in a hands-on workshop. Armed with wooden spoons, fabric scraps, ribbons and wool, the hall buzzed with imagination and laughter. From fancy lace dresses to tiny top hats, no two dolls were alike! The children loved working side-by-side with their parents and carers, sharing ideas and proudly showing off their learning. There were smiles all around as plain spoons were magically transformed into charming characters from another era. What a fantastic mix of history, creativity and teamwork – a workshop to remember!
