Sewing 4! Y4 workshop
CRAFTING PART 2 Year 4 honed their sewing skills through a series of engaging workshops. Parents and carers were invited to join in the fun and assist their children in creating unique stuffed hanging decorations. Under the guidance of their teachers, the young designers showcased their creativity as they crafted vibrant ornaments, both Christmas-themed and otherwise. The workshops aimed to foster a sense of environmental responsibility, with participants encouraged to bring recycled fabric, trims, buttons and accessories to incorporate into their designs. Thread, needles and felt were readily available, ensuring that all students had the necessary materials to bring their imaginative ideas to life. The workshops not only nurtured their sewing abilities but also instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment as they proudly displayed their finished creations. The Year 4 sewing workshops were a testament to the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education, combining creativity, sustainability, and hands-on learning.
