Yes chef! Y5 Cooking.
DELICIOUS Year 5 turned up the heat with a tasty lesson in cooking and nutrition! The class explored seasonal vegetables, budgeting, and healthy eating before rolling up their sleeves to make delicious carrot soup — complete with homemade croutons. The croutons were a huge hit, with some pupils loving them so much they decided to whip up their own batch at home! It’s been fantastic hearing how children have carried their new cooking skills into their kitchens — making their own soups, experimenting with ingredients, and proudly sharing their creations with family. It’s safe to say, Year 5 have proved themselves to be soup-er chefs in the making!
