Animal magic! Workshop
WELCOME Year 2 enjoyed a wild and wonderful collection of creatures and animals who “invaded” the classroom as part of a hands-on lesson about native and non- native species. Pupils were thrilled as the special visitors sparked laughter, excitement and a flood of curious questions. Children eagerly compared the animals, learning which belonged naturally in Britain and which had come from far beyond its shores. The unforgettable experience brought plenty of joy, with youngsters buzzing long after the lesson ended. One staff member said: “The children were absolutely captivated. It was wonderful to see so much excitement, and they asked some brilliant questions about where the animals came from and why that mattered.” Abbey said the activity helped bring learning to life in a way pupils would not forget. Thanks to Mrs. Johnson for the story.
