Jump for the moon! Effort

PROUD Abbey pupils were reaching for the stars— literally—as budding astronomer Archie Barter wowed classmates with stunning images of the Moon and Jupiter, captured using his phone and telescope. Meanwhile, the school was buzzing with energy during a week of action-packed intra- school competitions and sports days. Pupils showed incredible determination, teamwork, and spirit throughout. In a standout display of maturity, many children helped organise and run events, supporting younger peers and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Staff praised the “fantastic camaraderie” on show, with Abbey proving it’s not just about winning—but working together and shining in every arena.

Thanks to Archie’s mum & Miss Hinton for the story

[Ed - fantastic pic! Really proud of you. Well done to all the Abbey kids who supported each other so well]
