EYFS Wild Adventure! Forest school begins
OUTBACK In a thrilling turn of events, EYFS at Abbey has embarked on an extraordinary journey into the world of Forest School. The air was filled with anticipation as the little adventurers marched into the enchanted woods, shouting the Forest School mantra, "Don't lick, don't pick, be careful with that stick!" Immersed in nature, the children delighted in the mud kitchen, concocting imaginative delicacies, while others fearlessly conquered the rope climbing challenge. A magnificent bell tent stood tall, providing a cozy retreat for storytelling and imaginative play. The forest echoed with the rhythmic sound of flower press hammering, as the children discovered the wonders of preserving nature's beauty. Later on in the programme the EYFS explorers will gather around a traditional fire, relishing the warmth while indulging in hot chocolate and delectable s'mores. Forest School has undoubtedly ignited a spark of curiosity and adventure in our youngest learners, nurturing their connection with the natural world. The EYFS team at Abbey is proud to bring this educational experience, fostering holistic growth and igniting a lifelong love for nature and learning.
