STABILISED For parents, guardians, and grandparents, witnessing their Year 6 children progress through life is a source of immense pride. Bikeability not only fosters a sense of accomplishment but also equips Year 6 students with essential skills for a lifetime of safe cycling. Before embarking on any ride, they are taught to perform an "ABCD" safety check, ensuring their air, brakes, chain, and direction are in optimal condition. They are also encouraged to be aware of their surroundings, take suitable riding positions on the road, communicate their intentions through signals, and adhere to the rules of the road. So, as Year 6 students gear up for their Bikeability adventure, let us celebrate their journey towards increased confidence, healthier habits, and a greener future. With each pedal stroke, they are not just learning to ride a bike; they are embracing a lifelong skill that will serve them well on their road to success.
