Camper Check-in: Your campers will be checked in by Customer Service before proceeding to the next check-in step. Keep in mind campers cannot be checked in with a remaining balance. After checking in with Customer Service, your campers will receive a colored ticket directing you on where they will need to go next.
You’ll receive your camper housing, team color, and counselors’ names.
Upon arrival, we ask that you have/do the following:
1. Collect all camper medications (this will need to be separate from camper luggage). 2. Check in all campers present with Customer Service 3. Ensure a youth leader or parent is present with the campers through the camper check-in process. 4. Do not unload any camper luggage (other than camper medication) until camper check-in is complete and you have met your counselor.

Head to The Island with your campers and their bags to meet their camp counselor!
F.A.Q. Are there any additional charges for campers?
We try to keep our additional charges to a minimum. A list of additional charges can be found in the Camp Activities section of this packet.
What are the cabin facilities like?
Campers sleep on bunk beds in cabins with bathroom facilities inside most cabins. A handful of guys' cabins share a bathhouse. Groups are automatically housed together as much as possible unless requested otherwise. When a large group exceeds the cabin size, they will be housed by age unless requests are made.
What is the food like?
A well-balanced diet is planned for each day. Campers are free to eat as much as they desire at each meal. While we cannot accommodate every dietary need, gluten-free and/or diary-free options are available upon prior request.
What if I forget things at camp?
Word of Life is NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost or stolen items. Please put your name on every item you bring to camp – including clothing. Lost and found articles can be claimed by parents up to 14 days after the end of their camping week. Call 518.532.2500 for lost items.
