ment of the company and improve conne- ctivity for passengers across our network. The inclusion of new routes is part of Air Ser- bia’s broader network development ahead of EXPO 2027, which is expected to gene- rate additional growth in international traffic and increased demand for flights to Belgra- de,” said Air Serbia CEO Jiří Marek. Among the new services will be one conne- cting Belgrade and the Armenian capital of Yerevan, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 28 th March 2027. Air Serbia will initially operate three flights a week along this rou- te, increasing the frequency to four weekly flights from mid-June. The launch of Yerevan services marks a natural continuation of the company’s expansion in the Caucasus re- gion, following the successful introduction of flights to Tbilisi and Baku. Air Serbia will also resume direct flights between Belgrade and Helsinki as of 1 st April 2027. Serbia’s national airline previously ope- rated flights to the Finnish capital in 2019, but services were subsequently suspended due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Helsinki’s reinclusion in the network repre-

sents an important step in the further de- velopment of services to Nordic markets, with flights operating three times a week. One of the most significant projects in Air Serbia’s further network development is the introduction of direct flights to Miami. Sc- heduled to launch on 20 th May 2027, flights along this route will operate twice a week. As the company’s third U.S. destination – alongside New York and Chicago – Mia- mi represents a major milestone in the de- velopment of Air Serbia’s intercontinental network. It will further strengthen connecti- vity between the region and North Ameri- ca, while also improving connections and travel opportunities to Latin America and the Caribbean. The expansion of the airline’s regional network will continue with the introduction of direct flights to Cluj-Napoca. Air Serbia’s second destination in Romania, after Bucha- rest, will be connected to Belgrade as of 31 st May 2027, with four flights a week. This route is expected to attract a significant number of transfer passengers and further strengthen Belgrade’s role as a regional aviation hub. Di-

rect flights to the largest city in Transylvania, which is an economic, academic and cultu- ral centre of the region, will also make it ea- sier and quicker for passengers from Serbia to discover the city’s rich historical herita- ge, distinctive culture and natural beauty. Air Serbia will also launch four direct flights a week to the Moldovan capital of Chișinău from 3 rd June 2027. Apart from strengthening economic ties between the two countries, direct flights between the capitals will also provide easier access to new tourism and business opportunities, while further impro- ving Moldova’s connectivity with the many destinations across Air Serbia’s network. At the peak of the summer holiday season, from 16 th June 2027, the network of Serbia’s national airline will also be joined Menorca, one of the most popular summer destina- tions in the Balearic Islands. Air Serbia wi- ll operate flights to this Spanish destination twice a week, offering passengers from Ser- bia and the wider region another attractive option for Mediterranean holidays. Menor- ca will also become Air Serbia’s ninth desti- nation in Spain. This further network development will be ac- companied by fleet expansion. During 2027, two Airbus A319 aircraft will be replaced by higher-capacity Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats, while the fleet serving short- and medium-haul routes will be further strengt- hened with the addition of an Embraer E195 aircraft equipped with 118 seats.
