En effet, en une semaine, les entreprises locales ont acheté des tables dont la valeur est estimée à plus de 80 000 $. Le Kin Club a tenu à reconnaître le travail de Marie-Claire Ivanski et de Lucette Brisson qui ont grandement contribué à la vente de ces tables d’entreprises. Plusieurs autres groupes et organisations se sont également engagés à remettre des dons substantiels pour le dôme sportif pendant le gala d’entreprise. South Nation Conservation (SNC) invites residents and visitors to enjoy their net- work of trails that remain open throughout the winter season. In addition to SNC’s Conservation Areas (CA), SNCworks with municipal partners to keep a number of parks and trails groomed, helping increase winter recreational opportunities for resi- dents and visitors. “The groomed trails are suitable for a variety of winter activities including hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, on-leash dog-walking, birding, and geocaching,” men- tioned SNCCommunications Specialist Lisa Van De Ligt. Winter grooming takes place at the fol- lowing locations: Two Creeks Forest CA, near Morrisburg; Robert GrahamCA, near Glen Stewart; Warwick Forest CA, in Berwick; Nokomis Park, in Limoges; and at J. Henry Tweed and W.E. Burton CA, in Russell. In addition to these parks, SNC also part- ners with Russell Township to groom part of the New York Central Fitness Trail from Russell to Embrun. Le département des infrastructures est à la recherche d’une personne mature, motivée et bilingue pour combler le poste ci-haut mentionné. Sous la direction du Superviseur des travaux publics, le titulaire sera responsable d’opérer les équipements lourds servant à la construction et à l'entretien des routes, des ponts, des bâtiments et autres ouvrages. L’Opérateur sera responsable de l'exécution des tâches suivantes, mais ne sont pas limitées à: x Manœuvrer des équipements lourds tels que des pelles rétrocaveuses et des chargeuses afin de construire et d’entretenir des routes de gravier et d'asphalte, des stationnements, des systèmes de drainage, des trottoirs et des panneaux au cours la construction ou de travaux connexes; x x Inspecter et rendre compte de l'état de la signalisation routière et directionnelle, des ponts, des systèmes de drainage et de l'éclairage; x Manœuvrer de l'équipement lourd pour la réparation et le revêtement des routes au cours de la construction et/ou de la réparation des routes; x Conduire l'équipement lourd pour le déneigement et le déglaçage des routes et des stationnements; et x Effectuer des tâches manuelles liées à l'entretien et aux activités des routes et du système de drainage.
The Infrastructure Department is looking for a mature, motivated and bilingual individual for the above-mentioned position. Under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor, the incumbent will responsible in operating heavy equipment used in the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, buildings and other structures. The Operator will be responsible in performing the following duties but is not limited to: x Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and loaders to excavate materials and to construct and maintain gravel and asphalt roads, parking lots, drainage systems, sidewalk and signage during construction and related activities;
x Inspect and report on the condition of, traffic and directional signage and bridges, and drainage systems and lighting;
x Operate heavy equipment to repair, resurface roads during road construction and/or repair;
x Operate heavy equipment to provide snow removal and ice control on all municipal roads and parking lots; and
x Perform manual tasks related to maintenance and operations of roads and drainage system.

x Diplôme d'études secondaires;
x Completion of secondary school education;

x 3 years of experience in heavy equipment operations including loading and unloading and snow removal experience; x Possess a DZ License to operate tandem axle vehicles; an AZ license would be an asset; x Must be able to work different work schedule and/or work irregular shifts (summer and winter) as well be available 24/7 (On-call) during winter snow maintenance and removal period ;

x Must reside within a 20 minute range of the Municipal garage in order to respond to the minimum required response time during the winter snow maintenance and removal period would be an asset;
x Certifications in Winter Patrol or any equivalent snow driving school, in road construction and/or road management would be an asset;
x Knowledge of mechanics and welding would be an asset; and
