Having visited long ago, she was thrilled to return to Fiji again after so many years. Everything seemed new and she visited places she’d never seen before. Apart from the fun they had, the expenses-paid trip was a valuable learning

This lovely mother of four grown daughters (aged between 22 and 35) had been in the corporate world of banking for over 40 years. Up and leaving a long-standing career at the Bank of Tonga to move her family to New Zealand in search of a better education, Asenita has worked incredibly hard to support herself and her family in a completely new country. Determined to achieve exactly what she set out to do, Asenita gained a valuable position working within the Bank of New Zealand and then the Ministry of Health, where daughters, we’ve had some pretty big bills. It was ‘all work and no play’ for my husband and me. He had always been the main breadwinner, until a blocked artery and heart operation put him out of work about a year ago.
