Last year saw Andrew play a major role in helping BMW to secure the Manufacturers’ Championship for a second successive season, although his hopes of securing honours on a personal level were hampered by incidents outside of his control. Illness at Thruxton saw him forced to miss one of the three races and contact at Rockingham and reliability issues at Silverstone conspired to leave him fifth in the end of season reckoning.
