Facilitate the onboarding of leaders who are new to the U.S. healthcare industry OUTCOMES • Healthcare leaders will be able to work more effectively with other participants in the value chain • Healthcare leaders who aspire to lead at the next level will accelerate their readiness for promotion • Healthcare leaders in corporate functions such as finance, human resources, legal, and corporate strategy will work more effectively across functions, demonstrate greater business acumen, and accelerate their readiness to switch to a business role • Innovators will be able to search for and synthesize ideas from across their enterprise to develop new processes, products, and business models • New entrants to the healthcare industry will accelerate their performance in the new industry in which they are operating

As the complexity, cost, and rate of change of healthcare continues to increase, the need to prepare our leaders to face these challenges has never been greater. ‘Understanding the Business of Healthcare’ is designed with this purpose in mind. What makes this program so valuable is that it incorporates multiple sectors of the industry and creates an atmosphere in which executives learn from each other in a structured format.
