ASSET MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS Vector has a suite of information systems that support its asset management practice. These, and other critical systems, are described below. The primary systems used by Vector to manage the operation and performance of its network assets, and the related financial and project management activities are shown in Section 5. PRIMARY SYSTEMS Many of Vector’s information systems operate through an integration layer that extends across these systems and enables the reporting and data analytics that support Vector’s asset management processes. Table 3-4 provides an overview of the primary systems and provides insight into how they support asset management.

SAP is Vector’s ERP System. It contains records for all assets and is used for managing the asset lifecycle from procurement and operation, to maintenance and disposal. SAP also provides financial management related to asset management and project management This system provides the geographic, schematic and connectivity information used in managing Vector’s network assets
