4.1.14 OVERVIEW OF OUR NETWORK SUPPLY AREA Vector’s electricity network supply area is centred on the Auckland isthmus and extends north to Mangawhai Heads, south to Franklin, west as far as South Head and Tapora on the Kaipara flats, east to Waiheke Island and south to Papakura. Vector also supplies electricity to a network remote from Auckland outside the network franchise, namely the Fonterra dairy factory at Lichfield in the Waikato. The Vector Auckland supply area is shown in Figure 4-5.
