This role is focused on building relationships with clients with a view to winning new business. You will target those looking to set up hedge funds selling the software and platform that back this up. This offering enables someone to set up at significantly lower levels, usually you might need $100 million to start a viable fund whereas with AKJ’s platform you can start with as little at $2 million. The role is about continually attracting, developing and maintaining a network of hedge fund clients, and be the trusted partner our high level clientele have come to expect.
Represent the business selling to analysts, brokers, spin off brokers, hedge fund managers to develop a strong pipeline of potential clients in the hedge fund space
AS SALES MANAGER FOR AKJ YOU WILL:
Take ownership of the sales process to sign and follow the client relationship through to IOP and funding approach
In order to generate quality leads, you attend and participate in industry events and thought leadership networking to increase visibility and brand awareness
Mix incoming requests from potential hedge fund prospects (40% of leads) with your self-generated leads from networking (expected 60%), aiming to sign on 8-10 funds a year
Cover the UK with potential travel to Europe but the focus will be on London with the majority of your time focused on the UK market
