Program Highlights ANNUAL PROGRAM UPDATES 2027
CONTENTS
EARLY ORDERING 3
Each year, we refine our selection to bring you top-selling, high-performing genetics that meet the needs of growers. Your feedback matters, and we’ve listened! • We are continuing to add back some “oldies but goodies” that MYP hadn’t previously carried. You’ll be happy to see old favorites returning to the program, including Fuchsia Gartenmeister, Crossandra, and Cordyline Red Star. These additions come directly from customer requests, and we’re excited to add them to this year’s catalog. • You asked for more Mast Fusion mixed trays, and we listened. We are adding five new mixes featuring items such as Tradescantia, SuperCal®, SunPatiens®, Itsy™ Petunias, and three vivid colors of Heuchera. • We are making a significant change to our zonal geranium selections in this catalog. While we’ve carried some longstanding “heritage” varieties for quite some time, we’ve decided to transition to exciting new zonals from Selecta. We will be adding the Super Moon™, Sunrise™, and Moonlight™ series. Give these zonals a try and see what new breeding can do for geraniums. • We are excited to introduce the new TC Sunbeckia® series to our program. PERENNIAL PROGRAM UPDATES Demand for perennials remains strong, and MYP continues to seek out the best possible mix of new and tried-and-true genetics for your greenhouse operation. • New items from Dümmen Orange include Spintop™ Gaillardia and Birdy Leucanthemum. • New non-patented but proven varieties include Coreopsis Moonbeam, Salvia East Friesland, and Salvia May Night. • We are adding our first-ever Heliopsis from Kientzler: ‘Sole d’Amore’. • Our Rudbeckia choices will include the addition of Early Bird Gold. SUCCULENT PROGRAM UPDATES Building on a steady foundation in our mixed succulent program, we’re introducing several exciting updates this year: • A new classification of mixed tray called Duet that features just two varieties per tray. We are adding three mixes: Sunrise & Sunset, Plum & Plush, and Sky & Sunshine. • We’ve also added an outstanding new Chick Charms® mix: Spring to Fall Mix. More than just customers, you are our partners. We truly appreciate the relationships we’ve built over the years. We look forward to serving you in 2027 and beyond!

Book Your Order Early! Receiving your MYP catalog in July gives you ample time to plan your season and book your orders. Our booking cycle begins at the end of July for orders shipping in weeks 40-20. Ensure a successful growing season by booking early and taking advantage of these key benefits: EARLY ORDER DISCOUNT (EOD) Secure lower pricing on your plants by placing your order by October 31, 2026. We recommend booking as much of your initial order as early as possible. You can always make additions later, but ordering early ensures that the bulk of your order qualifies for EOD pricing. SELECTION AND AVAILABILITY Ordering earlier in the season increases the likelihood of getting your full order confirmed. Since our trays are grown to order, we coordinate with cutting suppliers based on broker orders. Supplies are limited, and once cuttings are gone, we cannot restock. ORDER PROTECTION Booking early helps safeguard your order against unexpected production shortages. Plan ahead and secure your order early to maximize savings and availability!
DEER RESISTANT Research demonstrates these varieties to be less desirable to deer. SEASON EXTENDERS We grow every plant in our trial gardens all summer long, so we’re confident these plants perform best in summer’s heat.

See New & Tested Plant Varieties Up Close The trial garden is described as a “living catalog” where visitors can walk through 1,500+ varieties, including familiar favorites and new for ’27 standouts, displayed in real garden conditions. Visitors can compare size, color, vigor, and habit side-by-side, which photos alone can’t convey. This hands-on experience helps you make more informed planting or purchasing decisions. Inspiration for Designs & Combinations Along with pots and beds of individual varieties, the trial garden also features custom combinations in hanging baskets, patio pots, and saddle boxes, each clearly labeled. An inspiration destination for retail customers, landscapers, and home gardeners looking for fresh ideas or what works well together in containers and landscapes.
Education & Insight on Performance Observe which plants perform best in summer heat, sun/shade, and real outdoor conditions rather than ideal greenhouse settings. Ask our expert staff questions about plant performance and care. “You Ask, We Trial” feature trials for 2026: PGR vs. pinching, new perennials, and new breeder Kerly. Networking & Community The trial garden draws growers, breeders, retailers, landscapers, and home gardeners, providing a great environment to meet other industry professionals. Visitors vote on favorite new varieties and combinations. Preview What’s Coming Next Many attendees go to get a first look at new varieties that may not yet be widely available in garden centers or catalogs, which is essentially a sneak peek of what’s going to be popular next year. Come and see our full offering of what will be new for spring 2027! Come and attend the Mast Young Plants Summer 2026 trial garden to discover new plants in real conditions, get design and performance inspiration, interact with staff experts, preview future offerings, and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts!
