The Lord Is Our Shepherd Even In The Summer
Praise be to you, Lord, Shepherd of my heart. In life's swift race you gently slow me down. And in Your recreation I can start each day with eagerness and fewer frowns! No cause for worry as Your lamb have I. You've promised daily to care for my needs. I feel contentment as I realize all I've been given and I feel less greed. Restore my soul with balance and rest. Recharge my tired mind with days zest. Redeem the time I've spent on my success. Relax my throbbing heart and help me pray. Praise be to You, Lord, Shepherd of my heart. Your goodness counters all my anxious thoughts. Your mercy will forever impart A lust for living I have always sought. Chapel season is over and we are off to our home churches, home, family and friends. Let this summer prayer sustain you until we gather again at ORPS for CHAPEL and TIME WITH FRIENDS.

It is through the kindness and generosity of the ORPS community that we were able to donate over $10,000 to our charities this 2022 - 23 season. Thank you!!! In March we proudly displayed our work in the El Saguaro Clubhouse. Quilts of all sizes and styles, bags, and many other hand - crafted items were on display and for sale. It gets bigger every year! If you think you might enjoy being part of such endeavors, please join us in the West Room in El Saguaro or contact us via email at orpsquilters@gmail.com. We would love to show you what we do. We are creative and provide inspiration for each other. All levels of expertise are welcome! Our members make so many donateable quilt items annually for The Shelter From The Storm, the Cathedral City Fire Department and the Cathedral City Police Department.
May you all enjoy the summer months and safe travels to wherever your journey takes you.
Hopefully we will greet each other as November brings us back.
