What sets you apart from other professionals? Any personal philosophies or backgrounds that gives/distinguishes you from other? Quality Care is provided when interactions with patients are encouraging, uplifting, and friendly – that is what I try to provide every day! What types of skills do you have? Any specialized courses that have helped you sharpen your skill set? Do you have patients that you specialize in? Recently graduated from PTA school (about a year ago), so I am only beginning to take courses that will improve my skill set. What is your proudest moment ad a PT, PTA, Trainer? As a PTA, Being able to put a smile on a patients face before they leave the clinic despite their pain/injury brightens my day. What are your hobbies and goals outside of work? Playing tennis; spending time in the kitchen (baking and cooking); traveling with my husband; photography.

How did you get started or inspired to get into the field of physical therapy, training? I love patient/clinician interaction. I am able to develop relationships with patients. Attending PT as a patient in the past sparked my interest. Where are you from? School? Lancaster County – Lititz, PA. Westminster College – Bachelors in Biology. Central Penn College – Associates PTA What makes working in a private practice different? You’re able to communicate with all the staff – including the owner. You input on some decisions involving clinic or patient care is valued.
