Hey, Norfolk! We’re excited to roll out the new waste cart program across Norfolk County starting Monday September 28, 2026. The new program will help divert up to 45% of our current waste away from landfills and into compost. We can all make a big difference by sorting our waste a little differently. Today, you’re receiving everything you need to get started with the new program, including:
• Your green cart for organics • Your gray garbage cart
• Your kitchen container (inside your green cart) • An information booklet on how the program works
• A quick-sorting sticker • A quick-sorting magnet
If you didn’t receive any of these pieces, please let us know. Give us a call at 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK, extension 0 , or visit service.norfolkcounty.ca/ to submit a service request.
