e. establishing an electrically safe work condition
The participants shall:
Engage in scenarios and practise:
Using safe electrical working practices to mitigate the hazards related to working around electricity. Treating all electrical equipment as live until an electrically safe work condition has been established. Acting independently and safely in relation to the hazards posed by similar looking or adjacent energised equipment that you can touch.
Establishing an electrically safe work condition.
The instructor shall:
Give constructive feedback or facilitate peer feedback throughout the scenario(s)
Facilitate a debriefing for all participants:
Review positive actions observed during the scenario(s).
Lead a discussion with the participants about points for improvement.
The participants shall:
Engage in the debrief.
Note: Relevant electrical measuring equipment and electrical PPE shall be available and used at all times during the scenario-based training.
