Levin arranges Retro Fitness lease at Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City, NJ
JERSEY CITY, NJ —Ret- ro Fitness has leased 16,000 s/f at Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City. The announcement was made by retail real estate services firm Levin Management. Levin’s senior leasing repre- sentative Jake Frantzman negotiated the long-term lease, which fills just more than half of a 30,000 s/f , for- mer big-box space at the prop- erty. Hugh Scullin of Katz & Associates represented the tenant. n TOWSON, MD — Green- berg Gibbons announced plans for a $20 million reno- vation to The Shops at Ke- nilworth, a landmark shopping destination in Towson. Plans call for transforming the concrete exterior and out- dated interior into a more con- temporary and welcoming spe- cialty shopping and community gathering place. The design concept includes reducing the current space by 8,000 s/f and adding a 20,000 s/f, three-level “marketplace” featuring a wine bar, a mix of casual and fine dining options, and a rooftop garden with panoramic views. Exterior renovation plans include adding grand front and side entryways that welcome visitors and improve the over- all flow of foot traffic.
