NOTICE TO WATER WORKS SYSTEM USERS OF THE CITY OF CLARENCE-ROCKLAND The City of Clarence-Rockland began strict enforcement of By-Law 2000-43, as amended. The users of the City’s water works system are not permitted to use potable water at any time between May 1st and September 30th , for the purpose of mechanically watering lawns, gardens, flowers, hedges or any other vegetation outside a building, except as follows: a) on any property bearing odd civic address numbers , on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays , between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. b)on any property bearing even civic address numbers , on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays , between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. These restrictions also apply to the new water works system for the Bourget, Clarence Creek, Hammond, Cheney and St Pascal Baylon. Any person who fails to comply with the remaining requirements of By-Law 2000-43 will be liable to a penalty of $150 . EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST CLARENCE CREEK ARENA CANTEEN The Community Services is now accepting expressions of community interest or others for the management of the Clarence Creek arena canteen. The rental cost is $8,000 + h.s.t. per season. The contract term is available at the Community Services. If you are interested to rent the canteen, please forward a letter of intention before May 11th 2012 to the Rockland Town Hall Community Services at 1560 Laurier Street in Rockland. The Community Services of the City Clarence-Rockland are looking for parents and youths to form a committee to organize the official opening of the new Clarence- Rockland Skatepark at Simon Park in Rockland.
