Great Hall Concert
Around 100 boys from across the school, including the whole of Year 5, performed a rich programme showing the strength and depth of the school’s music. Items included the school orchestra coming together to perform ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’, the guitar ensemble with the ‘Legend of the Lake’, the string quartet, the Year 5 choir, the Madrigal and Chapel choristers, the wind band, the percussion ensemble and the Purcell ensemble. I’m sure the parents who were there could not avoid being impressed by the quality of the boys but in particular the wonderful sound made by the Year 5 choir, along with a guest appearance from Dr Griffiths.
