Dugmore Hall Facility Details. The facility will primarily house first-year students. There are communal and suite-style restrooms on each wing and each floor. Each of the four floors also features living rooms and laundry facilities (2 washers and 2 dryers on each floor). A community kitchen on the first floor is attached to the main hall living room. Features include: • Gross Square Feet: 105,000 gsf, four-story structure • Number of Beds: 402 student beds plus a two-bedroom Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) apartment • Room Types: Double rooms, double rooms with private baths (suite), and a limited number of single rooms Other Spaces: • RA office and mailroom • Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) office • Study rooms on floors 2 & 3 • Two gender-inclusive, full individual bathrooms on each wing for privacy • Eight hallway study nooks • Dimmed adjustable lighting ability in each residence hall room for personal control • Parking: ~357 parking spaces, with additional bike storage, including safety lights (blue lights). This was a coordinated effort with the Recreation Complex project and Dugmore project. The location of this project transforms the academic corridor of the northwest of campus, and complements the Recreation Sports Complex and Tomlinson capital projects. Dugmore addresses the need of today’s students for privacy, intentional community space, and technology innovation. Together, the new hall and dining facility support student recruitment and retention, and will enhance students’ residential experience for years to come.
