at Biola. And, there was one name that constantly came up as to the logical one who would be able to initiate and carry on such a program. The name of Miss Leona Soubirou, who was a graduate of Biola, and who at that time was Superintendent of Women at Multnomah School of the Bible. I prayed about it, but I must confess that I didn't pray asking if it was the Lord's will. I just prayed that Leona would answer the Lord's will and come to Biola. I wrote her and told her what I had in mind. She said that was interesting, but she said she wanted to go back to the University of New York and get a degree in Public Nursing. I said, "No, that wasn't necessary, she didn't need that, but to come right away." She said no, she felt led to go back there. And so we were at a stalemate. I felt that she was the one who was to come, but I looked around elsewhere and in the meantime I couldn't find anyone and she went back to New York. A year or two later, she finished all of the training that she had in mind back there, and she was
