For the academic year 2021-2022, a review of the Departmental Reports showed various activities of staff in the faculties and units. The Web of Science platform, also provides information on the number of publications (unique) in any given year by staff at The University of the West Indies, Mona.
WoS, a chart of the top 25 subject-matter areas was generated from the platform. Most of the content produced was related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics/Medicine) disciplines. As seen in the Departmental Reports, staff in the Medical Sciences and Science and Technology publish more journal articles than staff in the other faculties. The content areas in Web of Science reflect disciplines predominantly in the Medical Sciences and Science and Technology respectively.
